Stud Earrings made with authentic rivets,
These earrings are made from the brass rivets on authentic vintage luggage pieces. The rivets are attached to gold toned, nickel free earring posts and measure 8mm across.
Due to the fact that these rivets come from vintage, very well loved bags, there may be tiny flaws. I do not use rivets with dents and to be honest the wear on these, if any, is almost impossible to see.
Please keep in mind that these are brass. After a few months the rivet part may need to be polished due to tarnish. The tarnish is easily removed. I suggest the cleaner Brasso. The back of the earring should not be cleaned with any tarnish cleaner. Avoid allowing the earring to come in prolonged contact with water.
